Obama camp releases 'Promises Kept' video

In anticipaton of Obama's speech tonight, the Democrats have released a video called "Promises Kept" which uses clips from the president's 2008 speech to demonstrate how he has kept his promises.

The video highlights Obama signing 18 tax cuts, creating 4.5 million private-sector jobs, ending the war in Iraq and signing the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act.

"Barack knows the American Dream because he's lived it," the first lady told the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday in an address intended to reassure voters that her husband share their values – hard work, perseverance and optimism – while also drawing a contrast between him and Mitt Romney.
