Nigeria: Suspect Accuses Police Man of Joining in the Lynch of #Aluu4



More revelations are emerging on how four University of Port Harcourt undergraduates were killed as a suspect in custody, David Ugbaje, Tuesday accused a policeman of participating in the lynching of the deceased.

He said the policeman joined the mob in the killing of the four students at Omuokiri, Aluu, in Rivers State on October 5.

Nigeria: Court Refuses to Stop President's Impeachment



Abuja — The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court, yesterday, declined request to stop the House of Representatives from commencing impeachment proceedings against President Goodluck Jonathan.

Nigeria: Ex-Minister Arrested Over Oil Theft



Former Minister of Interior and chairman of Integrated Oil and Gas Limited Captain Emmanuel Iheanacho has been arrested over allegations linking his company oil theft, according to Channels Television news monitored last night in Abuja. The former minister is said to be in the custody of the State Security Service (SSS), but this could not be confirmed last night as calls put through the SSS spokeswoman Marylin Ogar.
