Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg Announces that Site Hits 1billion Users | A Sneak Peek into the Young Billionaire’s Wardrobe

Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg hardly uses his own site to make announcements, at least not as much as most of us. But the few times he does, it usually makes the news. The young billionaire announced that he had gotten married in a private ceremony some months ago on Facebook by simply changing his status from Single to Married. And today, he announced on his wall that the social networking site has hit a total of one billion users using it actively each month. This means 1/7th of the world’s population uses Facebook.

This is cool

I toyed around with my account and found out I can actually make a custom domain for a small fee, that's gotta be the coolest thing ever. Although this made me feel a little technologically declined, considering the fact that I referred to myself as a technology 'guru' but imagine doing a google search of your name and your website pops up, that's gotta be the best feeling in the world. I'm definitely going to use a custom website because personal branding matters if I want to set a pace for my career early on. Even if my knowledge of website building is minimal, there is still a great opportunity here to create a website that is personal and we help me stay in touch with my friends and family worldwide. The world is such a busy place that we don't have time to paste photographs in an album and Facebook can be so face-less and full of advertising these days, so maybe a personal website to share with everyone without intrusion is what I need right now
